Naples and Pompeii

No stop to Italy would be educationally complete without a visit to Pompeii. Our first cruise stop was Naples and Pompeii is a short 20 minute cab ride. We attended on a rainy day, but it didnt spoil the amazing sites. The ruins seem small in comparison to others in the world particularly in Turkey and Jordan for example, but still spectacular when you see the extended market street and ampitheater.
