We loved Jaipur so much! Of all the places in Northern India we visited, we wish we had more time in Jaipur. Not only was Republic Day being celebrated during our stay, but we found a nice Hyatt that felt a bit more modern. Also we loved the astrology outdoor museum and also the palace with the red turbined guards and the absolutely exquisite mosaic tile doorways that S did some spins in front of. Jaipur felt the most clean, modern and hip. We also visited the jewelry building and rug shop here which made it memorable. Our guides Mother died during our day tour, so we lost him and his excellent history lessons half way through the day:-(
